CSD RZR RS1 Chromoly Front Bumper

Description

This compact, light-weight chromoly front bumper was designed for racing, but can be used on any Polaris RZR RS1.  We engineered it to be as light-weight as possible, part of our efforts to trim as much weight as is practical for our affiliated race teams.  High strength with light weight can only be achieved with chromoly, so this bumper is constructed of it entirely, with the exception of the aluminum skid plate.  High strength chromoly plate is used for the mounting tabs and strengthening gussets, each component CNC laser cut and precision brake-formed for a perfect fit.  Chromoly tubing is used for the frame structure and the bumper cross-bars for a clean, functional, desert-racing look.

Years of experience building championship racing UTV’s went into the design of this bumper.  For example, we raised the top bar considerably highter than the RS1’s bumper mounts to provide better nerf protection for our racers, and the ability to slide up over larger obstacles for our rock-racing and recreational off-roading friends.  The bumper extends forward past the plane of the front tires to prevent riding up on competitors’ cars during close-quarters racing situations.  This higher, extended bumper is fully gusseted for strength with laser cut chromoly plate.

The bumper is easily bolted on, and the skid plate attached, using the included Grade 8 hardware.  Currently offered in raw metal only, for customers to paint or powder coat in their preferred colors.  Available soon in semi-gloss black powder coat.
