Tri-Fold Rivets, also known as Exploding Rivets, are ideal for use with thin and lightweight panels where the grip load should be distributed over a wider area. The rivet body deforms into a bulb shape when installed to provide a wide, uniform grip and secure hold when fastening plastic and thin metals. Made of aluminum, these rivets are lightweight, nonmagnetic, and have good corrosion resistance.
