The Ultimate Parts Cart for Your Shop
We developed these Heavy Duty Parts Carts for use in our own shop and they’ve been envied by racers, shop owners and garage hobbyists who visit CSD.
These carts are BEEFY. The shelves are constructed of 14 gauge steel sheet, CNC laser cut and precision brake-formed. All four edges of each shelf are folded back over for double-thick strength to resist getting banged up when loading and unloading heavy parts. Each shelf is 3″ deep to keep small parts in place or to contain fluids dripping from freshly-removed components. The vertical stanchions are made of 1″ X 13 ga. square tubing. Each shelf is notched into the vertical stanchions at each corner, tying the entire assembly together into a super-rigid structure.
Easily rolls Around the Shop
We gave these carts some heavy duty casters so you can easily roll them around from job to job. The casters are 4″ diameter with polyurethane wheels to glide easily over any shop floor surface. There are two swivel and two rigid wheels, each with a load capacity of 400 lbs.
Heavy Duty Carts for Heavy Duty Parts!
While the four wheels are rated for up to 1,600 lb.s total, we have dialed back our stated capacity for these carts in order to keep them easy and safe to move when fully loaded. These carts can easily handle up to 300 lbs. per shelf, for a total capacity of 1,200 lbs. However we do not recommend moving them with the top shelf loaded, and always recommend that the majority of the weight be concentrated on to the lower shelves when moving the cart.
